Stage 2 · Reception
Every call gets answered.
Our AI receptionist answers the calls you miss and the ones that come in after hours, in your business's name. It's honest with callers, flags what's urgent and sends you a summary right away. Your phone still rings first.
- Keep your number
- Says it's an AI assistant
- Summary right away

What happens when you miss a call.
Nothing changes for the calls you pick up. The receptionist only steps in when you can't.
Your phone rings first
Same number, same phone. Pick up as usual.
Missed? It forwards
If you don't answer, or it's after hours, the call goes to your receptionist.
It answers honestly
In your business's name. It says it's an AI assistant and that the call may be recorded.
You get a summary
The caller's details and what they need, with urgent calls flagged, right away.
What it will do, and what it won't.
It's there to catch the call and get you the details, not to make promises for you.
It will
- Answer in your business's name, day or night
- Tell callers it's an AI assistant and that the call may be recorded
- Take the caller's name, number, town and what they need
- Flag urgent calls, so you know which to return first
- Send you a summary as soon as the call ends
It won't
- Quote prices, unless you allow it
- Promise arrival times, unless you allow it
- Pretend to be a person
- Take calls before you: your phone still rings first

Will the receptionist sound like a robot?
It talks in plain, everyday sentences, not a "press 1" menu. It also doesn't pretend to be a person: it tells every caller it's an AI assistant and that the call may be recorded.
Do I have to change my phone number?
No. You keep your number, and your phone still rings first. Calls you don't pick up forward to the receptionist.
Will it quote prices or tell customers when we can come?
Not unless you allow it. By default it never quotes prices or promises arrival times. It takes the caller's details and passes them to you.
How do I know which calls are urgent?
It flags them. We agree with you what counts as urgent for your trade, like a leak, no heat or a burning smell, and those calls are marked in the summary you get.
Does it answer after hours?
Yes. It answers missed calls during the day and calls that come in after hours, so nobody gets voicemail.
